This Year’s Focus

The Rescue Begins

Middle School

The Rescue Begins: This spring, kids will be learning about Jesus’ early life and preparation for ministry. Our first unit discusses Jesus’ birth, childhood, baptism, and temptation in the wilderness. Children will then hear about Jesus’ personal encounters with ordinary people that changed their lives in extraordinary ways. During the Easter season we will be studying Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, which made it possible for people to have a pure relationship with God.

You can find out more about this volume here.

Gospel of John

High School

The Gospel of John: From the very beginning, John makes it explicitly clear that he wrote his Gospel so those who read it might come to believe in Jesus, the Son of God. This year, our high school students will be working through the Gospel of John verse by verse to gain a greater and deeper understanding not just of this book, but of their own faith.

Sunday Morning

Sunday Gathering Time

Gathering Time

Each week, from 10:30am-11:00am, middle and high school students meet in our dining room for a time of crazy games, snacks, relationship building, and prayer.

Youth Small Groups

Small Groups

After the gathering time, from 11:00am-12:00pm, our youth break into two small groups for Bible study. Middle school students meet in the Junior High room in the Children’s Ministry area. High school students gather in the Monroe House which is right next door to the church.

Special Events

Nerf War

Monthly Youth Events

Each month, the youth gather for an informal time of fun and fellowship. Some of these events take place outside the church such as our ski trip, retreats, and ice skating. Other events like Nerf Wars and Iron Chef, are held here at the church. For details about our upcoming events, contact Tina or our facebook page.

Family Days

Family Days

We believe families are important. God put families together to fulfill His plan and to worship Him. Families should be growing together in Christ! We also know that families don’t need MORE to do, they need STRATEGIC things to do. Throughout the year, we offer several Sunday morning opportunities for our families to engage in the Bible and faith together. These events provide strategic, family-friendly activities that all shapes, sizes, ages, and family structures can successfully participate in together.

Sticky Faith

Sticky Faith Gatherings

We also believe having a strong bond with the entire community of faith is important for our children and youth. To help strengthen these relationships, we offer several Sticky Faith gatherings throughout the year. These events are open to the entire faith family from our littlest to our oldest people. During these gatherings, our church shares in a meal together, enjoys an activity that engages all ages, and is provided casual time to interact with each other.

Our church supports the ministry of Rock Mountain Bible Camp in Susquehanna, PA. We encourage our children and youth to participate in the various programs this camp offers. More information about Rock Mountain Bible Camp can be found here.

THAW Youth Retreat
The THAW is a weekend retreat for middle & high school youth groups at Rock Mountain Bible Camp. Throughout the weekend, students are challenged to experience God’s truth through building relationships within their group, fun activities, and focused times in God’s Word.

Teen Camp, Early July
At this camp, teenagers encounter Christ in unique ways which compel them to wrestle with their faith and how to live it out each day. This message is reinforced through relationship-building, team challenges as well as other camp activities.

We desire to help young people establish a firm foundation of faith so that their faith will stick with them as they grow up. Our church is blessed to be in partnership with Greater Binghamton Young Life and to use their ministry as one more opportunity for youth to connect with Christian peers, to be challenged to live out their faith, and to be poured into by Godly adults.
