missional-heart

When did the word “mission” become an adjective??!

The word “missional” arose to describe the heart and the lifestyle of people who want to reflect the heart of Jesus. People who truly embody the mission and the message of Jesus have a missional heart.

People with a missional heart love Jesus; they love one another; they love those who do not yet know Jesus . . . and their lives reflect those priorities and passions.

Being missional is much more than supporting a charity or serving in a mission project or program. It’s about embodying mission so that we live every day as visible and tangible expressions of Jesus’ heart. Join us in the next few weeks as we think about aligning our hearts with Jesus’ heart, out of gratitude, joy, and obedience.
